Reverser Switch

Switchable notches

At the flick of a switch, the PBC Pro transforms to match the behaviour of different trains—giving you unmatched flexibility across your entire simulation library.
Notch modes:

1. Fully notched. Featuring 4 brake notches and up to 7 power notches, this mode is perfect for classic UK multiple units like Electrostars, Turbostars, and Class 323. Also ideal for throttle-only trains such as Sprinters. To match the real thing, there is more force required to put in it Emergency, or in/out of Neutral. If you are driving a loco with more than 7 power notches, then the power notches will be spread across the neutral and brake notches to enable this.
2. Smooth brake, notched throttle. A smooth, progressive brake with a dedicated emergency position, paired with light, defined power notches. Perfect for modern UK fleets such as Class 800/801 (IET) and Desiro units including Classes 185, 350, and 450.
3. Smooth PBC mode. Ideal for modern PBC’s. This mode an Emergency brake notch and a Neutral position notch. Ideal for UK units such as The Classes 700, 701, 745, and Voyager/Meridians.
4. Full smooth mode. Completely notchless operation for maximum precision. Ideal for locomotives and any train with a fully smooth throttle or brake control.

The first and formost goal of the PBC Pro was to acheive the most realistic feel possible in a smaller desktop package

Notch stoppers

The PBC Pro includes 2 physical notch stoppers to limit the amount of travel in modes 1 and 2. Carrying holster included to stick onto the side of the unit.

• Notch stopper 1 limits the travel from 7 power notches to 4 power notches. This is useful when driving an Electrostar vs a Turbostar.
• Notch stopper 2 limits the mode to power notches from 5 to 4.

Re-assignable button

A realistic cab style button is included which can be reassigned to a range of functions. There is a set list of functions or it can be reassigned to any keyboard function.

Joystick Mount Compatibility

The PBC Pro features four pre-drilled, threaded mounting points, designed for seamless compatibility with common joystick mounting systems.

This allows you to position the controller in a more authentic, ergonomically accurate driving position—especially when simulating certain UK rolling stock setups. The result is a more immersive and realistic cab experience tailored to your preferred layout.

Ultimate Flexibility

FAQ

 

• What add-ons is it compatible with?
  The PBC Pro is compatible with all major add-ons for TS classic and Train Sim world. This includes add-ons from Armstrong Powerhouse, Just Trains, and Alan Thomson Simulation. All relevant Train Sim World DLC is fully supported, including UK, European, American, etc.
• Can it be used on consoles?
  No, PC Only. It is not possible to make a fully featured controller work on consoles.
• Do you ship internationally?
  Yes! See the shipping and delivery section below for more info.
• Why is it more expensive to go for no horn?
  Its a custom request rather than the standard production item, so takes extra time.
• Will there be enough stock to go around?
  Short answer, for the first few months, no. As its a hand crafted item only a small amount can be made at once, and then small batches will be put on sale. More batches are expected to be available every 2-3 weeks. So keep signing up to the stock notifications.

• Slot for real master key – If you work on the railways you may have a real key you may want to use with the PBC Pro. Key not included. This replaces the normal slot, and is just a bigger version to accommodate a real key.
• No horn/PBL. Removal of the Horn/PBL brake lever
