Flexi-Brake V2 delivers major new features and refinements for an even higher level of realism.

What’s new in V2:

New Smooth Brake Mode In addition to the existing Westinghouse and 3-Step (Westcode) modes, V2 introduces a dedicated Smooth mode. This supports brake systems with variable or no defined notches, including UK Class 90/91, HST, Class 101, Class 483, 1938 Stock, and all non-UK traction. *Software may not work on all trains on first release.

Switchable Loco Brake Mode A new software option allows the third mode to operate as a locomotive brake rather than a train brake, offering greater operational flexibility.

Reworked Notches for Enhanced Realism Brake notches have been completely reworked. Each notch is now stiffer and requires more deliberate force, with added resistance when moving into the Emergency position for a more authentic feel.

Increased Weight for Stability Unit weight has increased from approximately 1.8 kg to 2.7 kg, giving a more solid, planted feel that perfectly complements the stiffer notch action.

New Wider Rubber Feet Wider rubber feet provide a larger contact area for improved grip and stability. As with all TS Controllers products, Flexi-Brake V2 works seamlessly with everything Train Sim.

Created using heavy duty metal construction, the Flexi-brake has been designed and produced as the ultmate brake controller, providing flexibility to work with a huge range of units and locos in Train Simulator Classic and Train Sim World 5.

Designed to be compatible with the largest range of locos and units with a seperate brake handle. The unit itself is simulated on both a 3 step ‘sprinter’ style Westcode control, and a locomotive ‘Westinghouse’ style handle, but will work with most brake systems. Each style has different notches simulating the real thing, with the Westinghouse mode have the sprung release section just like the real thing – See the video to see it in action!

The brake mode is easily changed by pulling the knob up or down, with the software recognising this change so no configuration is needed.

As with all TS Controllers products, they are plug and play with no complicated setup required. The controller include TS Controllers unique software for ease of use, automatically switching modes so you don’t have to change any settings. The TS controller software is the culmination of over 5 years of development, with new versions released regularly providing new features and updates. The hard work has been done for you so you don’t have to!

The controller is designed to provide the most realistic feel possible. The modes and notches have been tuned to recreate the actual feel of a 3 step and Westinghouse style brake handles, as well as an addiontal smooth mode for everything else. The handle provides a firm soild feel, with the unit coming in at around 2.7kg to provide a solid grounded base that sticks to your desk!

The controller works great with most seperate brake locos and units in Train Simulator Classic and Train Sim World 5/6. Where the notches to not quite match up, for example if using a UK Class 90 or HST, or Class 56, you can use the 3rd notchless mode. Train Sim World 5/6 is also fully supported. The controller communicates directly with both simulators so there isnt any probelms of controls getting out of sync or similar. Unlike other controllers, TS controllers produces its own software rather than relying on 3rd party unsupported software.
