Switchable notches
At the flick of a switch, the PBC Pro transforms to match the behaviour of different trains—giving you unmatched flexibility across your entire simulation library.
Notch modes:
- Fully notched. Featuring 4 brake notches and up to 7 power notches, this mode is perfect for classic UK multiple units like Electrostars, Turbostars, and Class 323. Also ideal for throttle-only trains such as Sprinters. To match the real thing, there is more force required to put in it Emergency, or in/out of Neutral. If you are driving a loco with more than 7 power notches, then the power notches will be spread across the neutral and brake notches to enable this.
- Smooth brake, notched throttle. A smooth, progressive brake with a dedicated emergency position, paired with light, defined power notches. Perfect for modern UK fleets such as Class 800/801 (IET) and Desiro units including Classes 185, 350, and 450.
- Smooth PBC mode. Ideal for modern PBC’s. This mode an Emergency brake notch and a Neutral position notch. Ideal for UK units such as The Classes 700, 701, 745, and Voyager/Meridians.
- Full smooth mode. Completely notchless operation for maximum precision. Ideal for locomotives and any train with a fully smooth throttle or brake control.

Notch stoppers
The PBC Pro includes 2 physical notch stoppers to limit the amount of travel in modes 1 and 2. Carrying holster included to stick onto the side of the unit.
- Notch stopper 1 limits the travel from 7 power notches to 4 power notches. This is useful when driving an Electrostar vs a Turbostar.
- Notch stopper 2 limits the mode to power notches from 5 to 4.
Re-assignable button
A realistic cab style button is included which can be reassigned to a range of functions. There is a set list of functions or it can be reassigned to any keyboard function.

- What add-ons is it compatible with?
The PBC Pro is compatible with all major add-ons for TS classic and Train Sim world. This includes add-ons from Armstrong Powerhouse, Just Trains, and Alan Thomson Simulation. All relevant Train Sim World DLC is fully supported, including UK, European, American, etc. - Can it be used on consoles?
No, PC Only. It is not possible to make a fully featured controller work on consoles. - Do you ship internationally?
Yes! See the shipping and delivery section below for more info. - Why is it more expensive to go for no horn?
Its a custom request rather than the standard production item, so takes extra time. - Will there be enough stock to go around?
Short answer, for the first few months, no. As its a hand crafted item only a small amount can be made at once, and then small batches will be put on sale. More batches are expected to be available every 3 weeks or so. So keep signing up to the stock notifications.

- Slot for real master key – If you work on the railways you may have a real key you may want to use with the PBC Pro. Key not included. This replaces the normal slot and miniature key, and is just a bigger version to accommodate a real key.

I’ve been using the PBC Pro from TS Controllers with Train Sim World 6 on the Fife Circle route, driving the Class 170, and it’s been an excellent experience.
For this test I used the Networker handle with Hill Hold, which felt very natural and intuitive. The notches are positive and easy to feel, making power and brake adjustments much more precise than using a keyboard, mouse, or standard game controller.
One feature that really stood out on the Fife Circle route was the Hill Hold function. The route has a number of stations situated on fairly steep gradients, and Hill Hold made starting away from stations much more realistic and manageable. Instead of rushing to apply power before the train rolled back, I could focus on carrying out a smooth departure, just as you would expect in real operation.
Driving the Class 170 around the route felt far more immersive overall. Station stops were easier to judge, speed control was smoother, and the controller added a level of realism that simply isn’t possible with conventional controls.
The build quality is excellent, with the controller feeling robust and well engineered. Setup was straightforward, and once configured it worked seamlessly with the simulator.
What impressed me most was how quickly the controller became second nature. After only a short time using it, driving with the PBC Pro felt much more like operating a train than playing a game. The combination of the Networker handle and Hill Hold feature really came into its own on a route like Fife Circle, where accurate braking and smooth starts are important.
Overall, I would highly recommend the PBC Pro to anyone looking to add a new level of realism and immersion to Train Sim World 6. After testing it extensively with the Class 170 on Fife Circle, it’s become an essential part of my setup. So many routes to revisit now

I’ve had the PBC Pro for about a week now and have put it through its paces on just about every British bit of TSW DLC I own and I have yet to be disappointed.
Yes, it’s expensive… but given the scale of the business behind it, the build quality, and the way it has enhanced the immersion I feel when driving, I can’t help but feel it’s still fantastic value for money.
I bought the complete handle bundle, and being able to swap out handles easily to match the controls of the in-game stock I was driving was a huge immersion boost.
The setup was clear and simple, and the software just works, so it’s pretty much plug and play once you have the free TS Controllers interface program running. I haven’t found any faults with either the product itself or its functionality in game.
I really do recommend this product, if for no other reason than the fact that it has done the impossible and made me a better driver!

Have had the privilege to be part of the testing/development process for the PBC Pro. Dan has put so much hard work into designing, developing and perfecting this bit of kit. It’s a MUST for anyone wanting to add realistic immersion to any Train Sim setup. Have been driving with the very OG PBC since the start of TS Controllers and can never go back to traditional keyboard inputs – its truly a game changer!
Being able to change the notching capability of the PBC to suit any bit of rolling stock makes this product so versatile, alongside many optional handle variations to suit any traction. The PBC Pro is, without question, the most immersive and well-built train simulator controller I’ve ever used. From the moment you take it out of the box, you can tell it’s a premium product. What impressed me most is just how easy it is to get started. Installation was incredibly straightforward, and after a quick calibration it worked flawlessly with Train Sim World 6 and Train Simulator Classic. No endless setup or frustrating configuration—just plug it in and drive.

I managed to pickup my PBC Pro in the 2nd batch available, it was a rather hefty price BUT the way it has completely elevated my Train Sim experience outweighs the price. I’ve been using it on both Train Sim Classic & World – on which it both works splendidly.
As with all TS Controllers products its a simple plug and play as all that’s additionally needed is the free software. For TSW the software will tell you what Notch Mode to set the PBC too depending on what train you’re driving. The build quality is fabulous as well, nothing looks/feels cheap. You can also get the Full Bundle which gives you all sorts of train handles which easily slip on/off the PBC – my favourite being the Networker/Electrostar style handle which includes a hill start button!
Overall I don’t think twice about my purchase and am looking forward to see what comes next! PBC Pro is a must for all serious Train Sim players 🙂

Got one as part of the second batch. the quality is amazing! The unit is well weighted with small feet on it so it doesn’t slide around as your using it, everything feels robust with it and the overall look is very smart. This adds a lot of immersion to the game and the PBC pro lives up to its name. a wide range of adaptions to it are made simple meaning it is easy to adjust the setup of it to suit without taking it apart. The different style handles you can get are easy to swap but don’t come flying off when in use.
Its been a very simple setup, plug it in, and the software recognises it. This is a very smart, immersive and easy to use product. Its a must have for anyone who enjoys train sim classic or train sim world.

I was lucky enough to get one of the first run of the PBC Pro to add to my lineup of TS Controllers products. The build quality and choice of components is incredible. Every switch, every button, every notch on the applicable controller mode feel positive and satisfying. This controller has been by far the best immersion enhancer for the TSW games full stop!
The setup is done for you, all you do is plug it in and calibrate the handle then you’re ready to jump into TSW. The software knows what you’re driving and tells you what mode to put the controller into. You don’t have to do any of the annoying setup like with every other controller (I’ve tried).
I had a bit of an issue with my setup where there was some electrical interference causing the handle to jump between notches in game. I joined the TS Controllers Discord and the after-sales support I received from Dan was absolutely second-to-none. He worked through a range of troubleshooting over a few weeks until a solution was found. Without a doubt the best customer service I have had, thanks again Dan!
